You never know what you're going to find when you do a Mission but one thing they all have in common is the fact that you are helping out incredibly vulnerable and often frail people.

Mrs S and her partner were no exception, so it was lovely to be able to bring a little bit of light into their lives, literally as they had not had working lightbulbs in their lounge or the 2 bedrooms for something like 3 months now. A quick trip to the local superstore and four bulbs and literally 2 minutes later and they had lights again. I can't imagine how stressful and inconvenient it must have been for them with no light, especially over the darkest months of the year.

I am privileged to have been able to help them out. Sometimes the simplest of solutions can have a massive impact on people's lives.
