Helping A Lovely Couple With Their Shopping

The journey I have gone on with Good Gym has been quite amazing and dare I say it magical. I have come from such a bad place and have wanted to give up on life so many times over the last eight years since being diagnosed with an incurable virus, which has ravaged my vocal folds and had a devastating effect on my career and my life generally. I am so glad that I contacted Good Gym well over two years ago now. I thought that if I couldn't be kind to myself, the least I could do was to be kind to others. And here I am now, two years later and hours under my Good Gym belt and yet the special feeling when you help someone else is just as strong now as it was with the first task I did.

I ventured out on a muggy Friday night to help a lovely couple with their shopping. They were grateful for the help and a chat on the doorstep. I hope that more people will join the Good Gym cause and that we can truly make our society a more connected, kinder place.
