Gorge-ous Spring Clean

The Great Bristol Spring Clean runs from 28 May until 27 June so we were in nice and early with our Gorge picking, and Spring had finally sprung!

We’re trialling the mud asVaguely Northern Darren a beauty treatment, or maybe Darren just fell... It was the “highlight” of his day.

Finds included a big rope (all the better to help us back up to the Portway), a minion (pretending to be a hot air balloon) and loads of polystyrene. And real wildlife - the protected Common Lizard which must be living in the walls. A great spot by Jason.

Six bags of recycling and six bags of waste later, we’d had an hour of fresh air and socially-distanced litter-picking and a tidy gorge - until the next high tide!
