This was part two of a litter picking mission from yesterday (this will get reported at the end of the month) along the Quaggy in Kidbrooke’s Sutcliffe Park. I had picked out a lot of plastic bottles from the river yesterday but hadn’t the tools to get out the vast amount of polystyrene balls. So I returned today with a fishing net and removed two black sacks full of the floating polystyrene. It’s important to get out as it gets in birds feathers on the lake further down stream - picture of a swan from earlier in the year.
