Another Saturday morning helping out the lovely volunteers at the Unlock Runcorn compound.

Having cleared away a screen of bindweed just a couple of weeks ago, the team were Ince again faced with a green screen, covering all of the fences.

Undeterred, we set to, and after a couple of hours, could begin to see through the fence once more.

Most of the regular volunteers were otherwise engaged, so the team were very pleased to have a couple of extra hands (and a little extra height), to tackled this seemingly endless task.

At one point, there were more four legged friends than workers, who had a ball, chasing around the compound and meeting new friends...the treats and slices of ham helped, too 👍

As Saturday I often busy for me and our furry friends, we have agreed to pop down when we are free, to help clear the outside of the fencing...watch this space 👀
