Cowley Road Carnival is one of Oxford's biggest parties: Music, parades, food, glitter, and dancing close down the street for a massive celebration all afternoon. It was fun to see the road were we meet for the Goodgym Group Runs traffic free and full of partying people, and with a fabulous community spirit.

It takes an expert team of volunteers to make the event happen, and this year that included the Goodgym worker elves (sadly lacking in the glitter stakes). We made our way all along the Cowley Road from The Plain, up to Manzil Way Gardens and along to the Asian Cultural Centre, folding up gazebos, and taking down signage as we went so that the road could reopen post-party.

4 gazebos, 3 Goodgymers, 2 display easels, 1.5 hours.....and the road was clear to OPEN! Team work makes for dream work.

We are the Queens of dismantling.
