Gardening with PRIDE

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.

On a lovely sunny Sunday, Mike and Pete went to help an older gentleman who’s recently had a knee transplant.

He really needed help with his garden as he couldn’t bend down to do the weeding and gardening so we got to it.

Using the tools given - wee-ded the back of the garden so that he could be able to use the bit of driveway out the back (There was a lot of weeds).

As an ex-serviceman he was very grateful for all of our help - and wasn’t even so sure we’d make it given the sun.

Despite some sun burn (tan?) - Mike and Pete were still buzzing from Pride and smashed the task!
