After seeing an appeal in one of my WhatsApp groups yesterday for someone to pick up some bread, milk, and tinned meals for a family in social housing, I volunteered to drop some off this morning.

Thankfully there were a decent number of shops open today, providing not only the requested essentials, but some essential spoils for myself in the form of Easter eggs and iced spiced buns 😋 All-in-all, it was about an hour or so round trip in the sun (which I obviously covered myself up from because, well, emo). Hopefully the provisionsi dropped off will keep the family going until they can be set up more formally with local council services 👍🏻
