1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.

This was GoodGym Liverpool's first shopping trip for Ms D, who is shielding and unable to get to the shops. She had an electronic payment card so simply gave her a quick call to check her shopping list before heading off to her local supermarket.

She's now stocked up with all the basics she needed, and was very pleased to have some fresh veg and chicken as she's been mostly managing with store-cupboard supplies for a while - 'I'm sick of beans on toast!' as she said.

I enjoyed a socially distanced chat with her on the doorstep - she used to do voluntary work herself and it's good that we are able to give a helping hand to her and others who are in need of our support at this time.

A really nice report and it's great that you could help Ms D for the first time Jo. Glad that the e-card also worked to replace the repetitive beans on toast menu!
