I'll be honest, I don't know how we got to a week later without the run report when it contained some of the best group photos GG Lewisham has ever seen!!

Anyway, straight to it, we were returning to Seniors after a little break because we got so booked up! But we were back and there was lot's to be doing in the garden.

First up, there was a challenge that Marta and Steve rose to which was to fix the hose that connects to the outdoor tap and in turn fills the water butts. It required Steve running home and back as he had the part - thank you!! I'm pleased to write that it was fixed!

Next we had Paul and Julian turned the compost and then shoveling the good stuff onto the rose beds.

We also had Mo and Sarah potting up some seedlings and then doing something with some stinky "tea" that involved stewing alkinet..

Finally Oli tackled the weeding around the patio.

But wait where was Julian...he was caterpillering around and we nearly thought he might be stuck and wouldn't be able to get to the Blythe Hill Tavern!

Lot's of tasks done for the garden team at Seniors and ones that they would struggle to get done themselves.

This beautiful building is home to many activities for over 50s. There is a cafe, meeting rooms, a theatre space and a huge garden.
