A crisp Saturday morning greeted us at Furnival Gardens, where we helped to plant some fresh greenery around the sight which'll hopefully provide rest and relaxation in the coming months.

In addition, we helped to dig up some weeds and cut back some trees which'll be tamed into hedges, decreasing the visibility and noise of the road from the gardens themselves.

The animals were very pleased with us, one of our group brought their dog with them to act as our mascot, who probably appreciated the sticks and branches we were cutting off, and a few robins (pictured) were also enjoying the churned up soil and all the freshly available worms.

A lovely way to start the weekend.
