Ms M has a patio which had accumulated twigs and leaves during the winter storms. Her son gave it a tidy up at Christmas, but he lives over 200 miles away, so hasn't been able to visit since then. It distresses Ms M to look out onto a messy outdoor space, so 20 minutes of my time sweeping up and disposing of the waste made a big difference to her. I think she also appreciated being able to have a little chat with someone.
