After a week away I was keen to get back in the mix. A positively glorious day, shorts and vest weather without a cloud in the sky.

19 of you yesterday!!! Which I believe is a record - or a tie (will confirm). One shy of the magic 20, next week bring a mate and make it happen. It's social week!

Loved meeting Kerri, Neville and Esther - welcome to the gang - you've increased our efficiency and productivity in one fell swoop. Love it.

Did our ritual warm up in toasty conditions, we had about 5 late comers covertly slide into the group at this point. Then random questions - a chance to learn something relatively inconsequential, however, equally potentially ground-breaking. Really enjoyed the public transport pet peaves. Someone resting a paper on Jen's head, an audacious move. Brad getting a bum in his face...and he didn't even get bought dinner. Lots of other passionately articulated answers here...public transport eh? Always brings out the best in people!

Our task this week was to empty planters at mobile garden city, large cubed shaped containers weighing more than a tonne I reckon. With 19 of you chipping away we got 3/4 of the planters emptied. Was a satisfying one, but a real hard slog. Tipping them over required about 8 people pushing as if their lives depended on it (they didn't, this ain't a weird murderous Japanese game show). Then shovelling, barrowing and emptying again. Your efforts never go in vein, was much appreciated by the gardener, Victoria.

Locked up and ran back, with a beautiful sunset in the Olympic Park - all was momentarily good again in the world. We spoke again of GG Olympics. SIGN UP (check events) - will be a great craic.

Have an awesome weekend guys... spot on for some running - go find your aerobic mojo. Maybe run easy down the canal for 15/20mins then see how much time you can shave off on return leg. Named an 'out and back run' - simple and effective - a fave of mine.

See you beauts next week for social. (Will update whatsapp and task sign up with deets)
