Another Humbling Mission To Help K

I have been to K's on a few occasions now in order to deliver some newspapers to him. This time he was not feeling great and asked if I could do some shopping, which I was only too happy to do. A quick trip to the shops and he was stocked up with fruit and other goodies and his daily newspaper and I managed to bring a smile to his face even though I could see that he was not feeling brilliant.

If only more people could start to help out in our communities. It could only be a hour a month picking up litter, or helping an elderly neighbour, or volunteering in a charity. If you are reading this then please be assured that there is no greater feeling than helping out others less well of than yourself and knowing that you are making your neighbourhood a kinder place, one volunteering job at a time.
