An ice time skating in Cardiffs Winter Wonderland

A fantastic time was had on Thursday evening, even Bambi made an appearance on the ice.

So it was a fun evening which consisted of ice skating, bratwurst sausage and Mulled wine! Didn't come? I bet you are already feeling gutted you missed out! Darren fell on his steel bottom many times, but dodged a couple of falls thanks to fast reactions by Lucy and Lydia. It must have been all that practice from the Pen Y fan hike - It was icy coming down from Pen Y Fan so fast reactions were definitely required.

Other awesome skaters were Rachel, Jess, Martin, Aimee, Alison and Ben. It was great to see everyone build confidence in such a short time and wizzing around by the end! ... ZOOOOM!

After skating we went for mulled wine in the Wonderland area... if that's what it's called. It was wonderful!! (See what I did there...) We were all feeling pretty awesome and content that we came out alive after ice skating.

We then got hungry so some of us bought some food... YUM - it was good!

As Bambi made an appearance I offer my sincerest apologies that my Mickey Mouse or Eeyore impressions didn't make an appearance- "Nobody wants me attending anyway."
