9 GG Yorkies pulled up ragwort in a downpour and thunderstorm!

No rain for weeks and just when we're out in a field with no shelter, the heaven's opened. Ragwort is tough to pull out when it's dry, but even tougher with wet gloves. Either way, the rain was lovely and refreshing and the resident horses enjoyed a frolic in the wet stuff too.

Unlike most of our weed-pulling tasks, this was great because ragwort is yellow and therefore we can very easily spot what needs to come out. It also allowed us to see how much progress we were making, which was very satisfying!

We cleared a huge area, filled up several white tonne sacks and all left very damp but very happy.
