Mission

A Working Grass Hero is something to be

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.

Two Goodgymers travelled from different directions to meet and help Mr G with the overgrown grass at the front and back of his house.

It was clear to Matt and John on arrival that Mr G had put many hours, days and years of love and care into his garden with roses blooming aplenty. Sadly Mr G has two walking sticks now and struggled to get around. The garden needed a tidy up.

It was with pleasure that Matt and John hovered and swayed the flymo over the back and front gardens to leave the garden looking welcoming once again.

There is the possibility of future visits to Mr G to help with managing the garden and Matt advised him how to further communicate with the group who contacted GG for our initial visit.

Kudos to Matt for setting a fast parkrun time just before covering this task and then moving on to a second task! The mower, the merrier Matt!!
