A rake and bake - Celebrating a birthday and a return to the gardens!

It was an exciting trip for Goodgym Hammersmith, returning to a gardens we had not visited for over a year.

It was nice to be back and help with some weeding between the flags, raking up some old leaves and cutting back the Ivy which had slowly consumed the entrance way.

The fun did not stop there though, as we wished our very own Lucy Hill a very happy birthday, albeit slightly late as she had the audacity to go to Croatia to celebrate!

The cupcakes were okay - not my best baking performance - and several had sustained running related squishing but a pleasant evening had by all.

Thanks to John and Beth who joined me on the short 1 mile run there and back to our Brook Green base of operations.
