Here's what Mr F of L3 had to say about the mission:

Mr F called to thank the runners who did a great job given the enormity of the task. Well done!

Mr F of L3, mission beneficiary

This was the second time we attended the property having had to cry off last week due to the heavy rain. We needed to mow the front lawn using an electrical mower and so electricity and water were not going to be a great combination. Life never runs smoothly and half-way through strimming the front lawn, the strimmer gave out. We managed to get some shears to finish the front lawn and clean up weeds from the paving slabs. The back garden was a bigger job altogether. We managed to clean up the patio, which was overrun with brambles and all sorts of weeds and made a start on the garden area but this is a big job and whilst we have managed to clear a large amount of the brambles, nettles and weeds we are going to have to come back for another go in order to finish this job, so third time lucky. It's amazing to be able to help people out in the community who simply cannot help themselves and we know that it makes such a difference to peoples quality of life.
