Winter Solstice run or walk on the Maidenhead parkrun route
5km of fresh air, good company and twinkling lights - head torch mandatory

Date and time
18:50 - 20:05This evening the team from Maidenhead parkrun are leading a Winter Solstice 5km at Braywick park and it would be great to see lots of GoodGymers there. The distance is also perfect for anyone doing the December Daily Dash.
For some of us Christmas can be a very stressful time of year, for others it can be lonely, and for most of us it is far from healthy. However your Christmas season is going, a 5km moonlit (and torchlit) walk or run with a bunch of friendly GoodGymers and parkrunners is likely to be a positive addition.
We expect full details for the event to be posted here, on the Maidenhead parkrun Facebook page but the start location is likely to be the same as for Saturday morning parkrun, and the start time around 7pm. It is worth arriving early to say hi to everyone, admire all the fairly lights and festive fancy dress and listen to the safety/route briefing.
All paces are welcome. There will be a back marker and walking is welcome, so don't worry about being on your own or getting lost if you don't want to go fast.
Rosy cheeks and good feels guaranteed!
