Welcare have been in touch and need our help. They are planning a garden party for the families and volunteers that visit the centre and would love the garden to look its best. The garden is getting overgrown and needs some maintenance. Dead plants need to be removed, bushes need to be hacked back and the weeds.... there are always weeds!
GoodGym have done a tremendous amount of work here over the years - planting bulbs and making the garden more accessible and the work needs to continue so local families can enjoy this large outdoor space. Welcare is a great local charity and they rely on volunteers to help keep the centre looking its best.
If you could spare an hour then come and get your hands dirty in the soil and get an all-over gardening workout! This is a great beginner task to come and find out more about GoodGym and how we can help local charities and community groups in our area.
