14:30 - 16:30The Brentford Canal Festival organised by Brentford Voice which will take place across several sites in Brentford on Saturday 20 June. It is Hounslow’s largest free festival with perhaps 6 - 7,000 attendees. It wouldn’t be possible to stage the Festival without volunteers.
We have been asked to help with various jobs involving set up, supporting the smooth running of the event, and close down.
This session will be running the day.
14.30 - Volunteer sign in and induction at the Digital Dock
15.00-18.00 – Running the day
Stewarding and helping visitors with directions Queue management and boat trip ticketing Liaising with Security, First Aid and Event Management teams Monitoring canal side safety Supporting the Kidzone and family activities Litter picking and helping keep sites tidy Supporting accessibility and inclusion
