WHAT WE’LL BE DOING
GoodGym Barnet is supporting a special community screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing at the Phoenix Cinema during Barnet Climate Action Week.
This 50-minute film brings together the latest evidence about the climate and nature emergency, what it means for our lives and communities, and the positive ways in which we can respond.
The screening will be followed by a facilitated community discussion and Q&A, giving local people an opportunity to consider what is happening and how we can act together.
GoodGym members can take part in two ways:
• Volunteer to help with the event. Tasks may include setting up, welcoming and directing guests, stewarding and helping to clear up. Exact roles will be confirmed nearer the date.
• Watch the film and join the community discussion afterwards.
The Phoenix is a much-loved charitable community cinema that GoodGym Barnet regularly supports. This event is being organised alongside Barnet Climate Action Group, Friends of the Earth, Chipping Barnet Foodbank and other local organisations.
BOOK YOUR FREE SEAT
The screening is free, but places are limited and must be booked in advance.
