The Great Slow Ways Summer Waycheck encourages the testing and reviewing of local walks for their website.
We'll catch the train from Portsmouth & Southsea railway station to Emsworth, ready to start our walk.
The walk from Emsworth to Horndean is 12km. We'll take a refreshment stop at Rowlands Castle - you can bring your own flask and snack or buy at a cafe. Bring extra water for the walk.
Our return journey will be on the No 8 bus from Horndean to either Portsmouth & Southsea station, or to The Hard.
