Sandford-on-Thames community orchard

The new hedge we helped to create last year at the village hall in Sandford-on-Thames has survived and is growing well. The community group have now got another weekend of tree-planting planned; this time planting around 40 trees in the orchard. This is a weekend-long activity for the local community and we have offered to help out for a couple of hours from 10.30am onwards on the Sunday morning.
As with other gardening tasks, please bring gardening gloves if possible although I will bring a couple spare with me. We will just be using hand tools for the task and these will be provided by the community group.
