Friends of Vale ParkLucy and the Friends of Vale Park asked a return to weeding of rose beds in Portslade
Are you running or cycling there, or just meeting at the task?
I will be by bike and ride there from Queens Victoria Statue (1 Marlborough Pl, Brighton BN1 1UB). Meeting at 18:00 for leaving no later than 18:15.
Who's running will instead meet at the Statue of Peace, in Hove, at 18:00 to get off no later than 18:15.
Regardless where you come from, it would be fun you join us at the task from 18:45 for volunteering together with the Friends of Vale Park.
Bring your garden gloves. Tools and spare gloves will be provided by our task owner Lucy.
If meeting at the task, here is our destination address: Vale Park is in Vale Road, Portslade, Brighton and Hove, BN41 1GG (The park entrance is from Franklin road, on the east side of the park near the toilets/car park. The rose beds are just near there)

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
