💜 URGENT APPEAL FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE RECENTLY SAID “I REALLY SHOULD GO TO THE GYM” 💜 Good news! Community Kettle has found a way for you to get a workout without paying a monthly membership fee. We’re getting a brand-new floor, which means we need some brave volunteers to help move furniture and clear the space. 📅 Friday 30th October🕜 1.30pm📍 Community Kettle, 62 High Street, Cosham We’re looking for people who can: ✅ Lift things✅ Move things✅ Point at things and say “that should probably go over there”✅ Drink tea while supervising others In return, we offer: ☕ Unlimited cuppas🍰 Cake (the official fuel of community projects)😂 Plenty of laughter🎤 Potentially questionable singing🏆 Community hero status💪 Sore muscles you can proudly show off the next day We can’t guarantee health and safety will approve of the singing, but the furniture should survive. The more volunteers who come, the less chance there is of one volunteer accidentally becoming “the designated sofa person”. If you’ve ever enjoyed a brew, a biscuit, a chat, a hug, a laugh, or one of our activities, now’s your chance to help us get Community Kettle ready for its next chapter. Drop us a message, comment below, or simply turn up armed with enthusiasm and a willingness to move something heavier than a teacup. Come for the lifting, stay for the cake, leave wondering why everyone started singing Sweet Caroline whilst carrying a table. 💜☕🍰🎵
