Restore the steps in Brookmill Park

Brookmill Park is a very small park off Brookmill Road . Our small volunteer group takes the lead in community gardening sessions , river clean ups (the river Ravensbourne runs through the park to Deptford creek and the Thames) We also run an annual summer picnic and have done some art workshops in our small hut (ex park keepers hut ). We also have links with local primary school for an annual art competition. Lewisham have contracted the park to Glendale who empty bins etc but picking up general litter is left to us or rather one of our volunteers who takes a lead in this . However he is now finding it a bit too much and we would like some help for maybe a couple of hours once a month. Lewisham could provide litter picking tools and we have plastic gloves and bin liners for the rubbish which would be picked up by Glendale . We would be very grateful for some help in keeping the litter down
