Replacing doorbell battery for Ms S (wk1) (flexi)
Ms S would like to be able to recieve packages and visitors easily to her home but cannot replace the doorbell battery herself.
Location
Confidential location in Cardiff. The address will be sent to you when the mission is confirmed.
Date and time
15:00 - 16:30Cardiff Third Sector Council asked GoodGym to help Ms S with replacing the battery in her front doorbell. She has missed deliveries from not being able to hear it and is unable to do this task herself due to age and disability.
The button to trigger the bell is affixed to the front door and is what needs attention, not the block plugged into the mains. The doorbell will take watch batteries, CR2032, which Ms S has available.
The front of the doorbell can be removed without the need for tools to access the battery compartment. You can view a tutorial for how to replace the batteries on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dhtjTtgPV4
GoodGym has listed this mission for one or two GoodGymers. Two GoodGymers can go together, but the mission will still go ahead with one if only one person signs up by the deadline. If you are concerned about going solo, please do not feel under pressure to attend. Instead, please send us an email to missioncontrol@goodgym.org. If you let us know, we will not confirm it unless we have a second GoodGymer.
If you’d like to do this mission but cannot make any of the listed times or dates, please email missioncontrol@goodgym.org and we will do our best to organise this for you.
