Putting new battery in electric wheelchair for Mrs K (wk1)
Mrs K is currently housebound without access to her wheelchair. Desperately needs to go to the dentist but can't leave her home. Very isolated and hasn't got anyone to help her with this task
Location
Confidential location in Brighton. The address will be sent to you when the mission is confirmed.
Date and time
11:00 - 12:30Together Co Befriending have asked us to help Mrs K. She has bought a brand new electric wheelchair but is unable to put the battery in herself as she can't bend down low enough and is worried she will fall. It doesn't require any specialist knowledge of wheelchairs, there are instructions and a youtube video if required. Batteries are regularly taken out of wheelchairs for charging, but Mrs K needs help getting it in to start with.
GoodGym has listed this mission for one or two GoodGymers. Two GoodGymers can attend together, but the mission will still go ahead with just one if only one person signs up by the deadline. If you would prefer not to attend this task on your own, please email missioncontrol@goodgym.org as soon as possible. We will then make sure the task isn’t confirmed unless a second GoodGymer is also available to join you.
