Friends of Norris Green Park - Walled Garden Restoration
We are restoring the historical features within the park - once the site of the long gone Norris Green mansion. This summer we are opening a heritage centre and volunteer-led cafe, the walled garden will be used to grow fruit & veg and get the community involved in health eating & horticulture - we have made a good start but we need more hands on deck to clear the area .....our weekly volunteer crew are all over 65 so having some young people to help would be absolutely awesome! Norris Green Park is a hidden gem in the north of Liverpool, but needs some TLC! They have a small, friendly team of regular volunteers who would really appreciate our help in doing some groundwork (literally) to prepare for new paths to be laid in their Walled Garden. The task will involve some shovelling of earth/gravel, so don't wear your best kit!

Please remember to bring your own gardening gloves. As this is an outdoor task, a face mask is not essential but of course, do wear one if you wish to. Social distancing will be maintained throughout the task.
