Bristol Half marathon but full GG energy

Ode to Goodgymers and other runners at Bristol Half

The rain came down but the goodgymers came out,

We must cheer loudly and jump about,

The Bristol Half runners need us so,

They need our energy to help them go,

We cheered everyone and tried to say their name,

Rang the cow bells and clapped through pain,

We might have wet feet and a sore throat too,

But we'd do it all again,

Anything for you.

We had a great time marshalling and cheering at Bristol Half today. Great energy guys! Especially well done to Claire and Richard who were on a quiet strip so I'm sure it made even more of a difference. A big congrats to everyone that ran it too!

Put in your diaries 5th May and 15th September for Bristol 10k and Bristol half next year and they said we can have a bigger marshalling team =)

The day was looking grey,
Seven layers was a good amount they say,
But there was so much cheering today,
The sky went blue,
The runners went wooo,
