Pain management, care at home, rehab support, pastoral services or end-of-life care to help anyone with a terminal illness, their loved ones and their carers with free support, care and advice for the people of Greenwich and Bexley at any time.

The Community Hospice's Open Gardens Festival is a lovely celebration of summer as local residents across Bexley and Greenwich boroughs open their gardens and green spaces to help raise fund that will support patients loving with terminal illness.

The task

The Hospice team have asked us to help spread the word about the event in areas around some of the participating gardens.

For this session we'll be letter-box leafletting in the Welling area. Join us for a brisk walk or light jog - depending on the group’s mood. You'll be doing something positive for the community and getting a good dose of fitness at the same time.

You might like to bring gloves as hand protection, as some of the letterboxes can have strong springs!

📍When and where

Meet at 6pm outside the Community Hospice Shop, 16 Bellegrove Parade, Welling DA16 2RE. (Note this is the shop between Shoulder of Mutton Green and the railway bridge, not the one further along the high street.) What3Word location: ///aura.successes.sing
