Community mission

Hot Food Deliveries for Lambeth's Healthy Living Platform

Hot food deliveries provide a nutritious meal to local families with young children.

This is a community mission, a community led session where you will meet other GoodGym runners at the task. Please make yourself known to anyone in a GoodGym top when you arrive. To attend this session you must sign up in advance. Please do not attend the session if you have not signed up in advance

Alongside government social distancing and hygiene rules, you must:

  • Bring your own gloves suitable for the task
  • Not share tools at the task or clean tools between each use

Lambeth's Healthy Living Platform are working out of Southwyck House Community Hall kitchen near Central Brixton, preparing and delivering hot food parcels and other essentials to local families who need them.

Deliveries can be done on foot or by bike - if you can bring a bag/panniers to carry them, that's great! Distances will be just be a few kilometres. Families may return containers/feedback forms from last weeks delivery. If this happens, please return to the Southwyck House Community Hall :)

If no one else from GoodGym is there, ask for Angela or Helen, but the whole team is awesome and friendly and will be so grateful for any help you can give.

Nice one! 👌
