Friends of Horsenden HillThe Friends of Horsenden Hill host regular sessions at Horsenden Farm with a range of conservation, gardening, veg growing, and site maintenance tasks.
No prior experience needed - all the instructions and tools will be provided!
The volunteering session coincides with the tap day on the farm to keep everyone's energy levels up. From 12pm you can treat yourself to freshly brewed draft beer at the on-site nano brewery ๐บ, pizzas baked in the clay oven ๐ or other sweet and savoury treats from the bakery!
โ๏ธ What is the task?
Gardening can be unpredictable. Depending on the weather, the tasks may include:
- weeding and planting the flower beds
- orchard care
- tree planting
- woodland management
- hedgelaying
- bramble bashing
- tidying up the driveways
- woodchipping the paths
- clearing up rubbish on site
๐ When?
- First Saturday of the month at 10:00 am
- The GoodGym session is between 10:00am โ 12:00 pm but the volunteers can stay until 2:00 pm
๐ Where?
- Meet in the Horsenden Farm courtyard at 10am.
