Helping Mrs D reclaim a garden she loves (wk3)

Community Connections Lewisham has asked us to assist Mrs D with some general garden maintenance including weeding, grass cutting and pruning. Gardening has always been something she enjoys, but due to her lung cancer diagnosis and reduced mobility, she is no longer able to manage these tasks herself. Mrs D has three lawns that require attention—one at the front of the property and two at the rear.

Restoring the garden would bring Mrs D significant joy and peace of mind, as it was previously a source of pride and enjoyment. In its current state, the garden serves as a difficult reminder of the limitations her illness has placed on her independence and the lack of practical support available to her.

GoodGym has listed this mission for one or two GoodGymers. Two GoodGymers can attend together, but the mission will still go ahead with just one if only one person signs up by the deadline. If you would prefer not to attend this task on your own, please email missioncontrol@goodgym.org as soon as possible. We will then make sure the task isn’t confirmed unless a second GoodGymer is also available to join you.
