PROVIDE RAISED BEDS FOR RESIDENTS TO GROW THEIR OWN VEGETABLES OR FLOWERS. EMPOWERING RESIDENTS AND ADDRESSING FOOD INSECURITY.

The Community Healing Gardens is a beautiful green space in the centre of the Vauxhall Gardens Estate. It provides local residents with a safe outdoor space to enjoy, and the opportunity to grow their own food.

We will be helping the volunteer group from Vauxhall Gardens Estate residents, and Lambeth Friends Of The Earth, at their weekly gardening session.

Tasks may include weeding, litter-picking, shifting/laying mulch, and maintaining planters. There is usually tea and cake available for volunteers too!
