Help Southampton City Farm build a maze!!

Every Sunday for the next 10 weeks the farm will be running Nature Hub community volunteering days and Tom has asked us at GoodGym if we can help out with the running and direction of these days.

The aim is get the community more engaged with nature for the next 10 weeks. We know how important it is for families to have a safe place they can visit and help make a difference, so we would love individuals, families, and more to get involved in this project.

The volunteering day would run from 10-3 every Sunday, and will involve building new raised planters in the shape of a maze. It will then involve filling them full of manure, and topsoil, and then planting them full of fruits, vegetables, and sensory plants!

Joining us on the day is absolutely free, and if you wanted to join for 1 hour or all 5, we would love to see you. This is a family friendly volunteering session, although we would advise for children to be over 8 as this will involve use of tools (if under 8 but happy to get involved, please do join us!), and be able to help with all aspects of gardening.
