Shared Roots Community GardenThis group of volunteers are doing an amazing job creating a space for community growing, helping get fresh fruit and veg to everybody. They are putting on sessions to plant fruit trees and create frames for them and have asked for a hand from us!
The impact on the community would be significant. You'll be helping create an accessible growing area which will allow increased food production for the local community.
No need to bring anything or have any special skills - just turn up and get stuck in!
This will be a satisfying task with a great workout thrown in! If you have gloves these would be helpful but not essential.
How are you getting there?
