We are creating a community garden - - for community food growing - for wildlife - as a beautiful space for local people and visitors to enjoy

The Community Healing Garden in Vauxhall is a beautiful haven of green space in the middle of an urban area. The garden is built and maintained by volunteers, and aims to increase biodiversity and promote food growing amongst local residents.

We will be helping the volunteers to prepare an area of the garden for new hedges, which will provide a habitat for birds and other wildlife. Tasks may include lifting turf, digging out any rubble in the soil, planting hedges, and litter-picking.

All gardening tools will be provided. If you have gardening gloves, please bring them.

First timers are very welcome - just look for anyone in a red Goodgym shirt!
