GG Summer Sophisticated Theatre Social 2026

IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS! But it’s time for Pa to-style fun at the Wardrobe Theatre.

We could have a meal together (see below) but we’ll definitely go into the Wardrobe Theatre to watch "Notting Hell" for 19.30. This is a mash-up between Notting Hill and Scrooge. We have previously had a few socials to the mash-up parodies at the Wardrobe Theatre and they are very random but hilarious!

Eternal pain and suffering, never-ending torment, ceaseless misery – falling in love isn’t always easy. When the foppishly handsome owner of a quaint bookshop falls for a jaw-droppingly gorgeous international mega celeb, little did he think he’d soon find himself deep in the fiery pits of the underworld, surrounded by horses, hounds and facing off with the cursed spawn of satan himself! Oh, bugger! This summer finding true love is going to take a lot of sacrifice, human sacrifice.

We may be able to book a table at Old Market Assembly. Previously we’ve had pizza sharing with a selection of pizzas, salad and potatoes.

Melanie has booked 6 tickets for the show so far, £20 each and we may be able to get more
