Festive decorating for Christmas Dinner event for young care leavers 🎄🌟

A very special event is taking place this Christmas Day. The Ealing Xmas Dinner are organising a Christmas get together for care leavers in the borough. As young adults, they can find themselves isolated at this time of year, and it can be a miserable time when everyone else seems to be with their families.

The Ealing Christmas Dinner is going to provide a slap-up dinner and loads of fun! Our help is needed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

At this task, you will use your creative flair for however long you can spare to decorate the venue (possibly with boughs of holly!) where the dinner will take place.

Important

• The location is in the borough of Ealing, but it has to remain confidential on the public website. Don't worry, we'll let you know where you need to be ahead of the task.
• Please email your full name to the task leader kash@goodgym.org - we need to provide this information to the organisers for safeguarding purposes
• Bring photo ID on the day - the organisers will check IDs upon arrival.

Support the Christmas Dinner directly on 25th December

On Christmas Day, support is needed from 11.00am to make the day fun! You'd be welcome to come for only part of the day or as much time as you can spare. The organisers will ask you to complete a form where you can let them know your availability.

If you're interested, you must email ealing@thechristmasdinner.org.uk, and they will ask you to go through their volunteer process.

If you have any special skills or passions you could bring to add to the fun (e.g. beauty, singing, playing games, art, dancing), do let the organisers know, they'd love to hear from you!
