Family and friends beach clean at Great Yarmouth beach
It will help create a safer, more inviting area on the beach for locals and tourists alike and also (hopefully) cut down on the amount of plastic pollution making its way into the sea

A cleaner beach will create a safer, more welcoming environment for the local and visiting communities and help reduce the amount of waste being left in the sea. Meeting at 11am on Great Yarmouth Beach just behind the JoyLand Dinner, we're planning to cover as much of Gt.Yarmouth beach and the general beach side area as possible. Although we'll be collecting as much waste as possible, the thought is to be as visible as we can to try and encourage people to change their behaviors when it comes to leaving waste on the beach. We'd love to see whole families taking part, from young to old, bags, gloves and pickers will be supplied. For anyone interested, we'll likely have a game of mini-golf at Pirate Cove afterwards...as well as some fish and chips!
How are you getting there?
