Event volunteering: May Day at the Park
Out charity run several support groups, a gardening group and a history group. The money raised at our events will solely go to fund this and help with room hire.

May Day event
We are a charity called Friends of St. James Park. We put on several larger events a year and seeking volunteers who fancy having a great time out and helping a charity at the same time.
The events are old school style, with bouncy castles, hot drinks and home-made cake stall, tombolas and raffles. Plus live music, stalls and more.
The volunteers can help for a couple of hours or stay the whole event if they wish. We will provide refreshments and ask people to bring their own refillable flask.

Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.
Help is needed to help take down the event (gazebos etc) on May Day at the park.
This will finish at 5pm so plenty of time to walk across to the YMCA if you are also taking part in that session 😊

Do you need additional hands?
Hi Oleksii! The more the merrier! It would be great to meet you. We are starting at 3pm until 5 taking down the event. Hope to see you there! ☺️
Sadly Friends of St James Park have had to make the difficult decision to postpone this until a later date due to the expected weather conditions making it unsafe for the public due to gazebos etc.
We do have a session at 6.30 at YMCA Cranbury Road renovating the garden on the same day so we would be delighted to see you there!
