Can you lend a hand delivering bags of ingredients in order to facilitate a Zoom cook along with families supporting vulnerable kids? The bag will be up to about 5kg, so a bike would be helpful here but walking is possible too.

The recipients will be kinship carers and the children they care for- kinship carers are family members or connected people who step in to care for children who would otherwise enter the care system permanently, or be adopted outside of the family. This means lots of grandparents but also aunties, godparents, sometimes adult siblings. They care for often traumatised children and have to manage very complex family dynamics and often loss of income and housing problems as a result of their caring role. They are the forgotten carers of this country and don't get any of the support that foster carers and adopters get so this opportunity will mean a lot.

You will be meeting Anna-Lou outside the front of Battersea Arts Centre at 2pm, where she will give you the ingredients and an address in Wandsworth Wandsworth. Her number is 07792320549 in case of any problems. If you do sign up to this one please do feel you can commit as Anna-Lou will be coming especially to meet us with a bag ready prepared for each GGer!

There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Battersea Arts Centre, and Battersea Arts Centre and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.
