Gunners be a great run with Achilles International at Arsenal Stadium

10 Goodgymmers braved the freezing temperatures and unprecedented tube chaos to join our crew of awesome VI (visually impaired) runners at Arsenal Stadium. We met with Naqi, Lea, Tom, Andrew (and adorable guide dog Mario 🐕) at Arsenal station, along with new guide runners Lasma and Michelle- welcome!). Charlie and Asfaq arranged to meet up in advance to run a 100 minute long run together, ready for future endurance events (exciting stuff coming up- watch this space!). Avoiding the slightly precarious sheet ice near Drayton Park, our guide running teams and shadowing guides did a great range of long extended efforts, run/walk efforts and interval workouts. Together we are building a running club that happens to have VI runners involved!
