The Greenway OrchardAfter a successful first visit to The Greenway Orchard in mid March, we shall be returning again in April to take on more of the overgrown undergrowth in the former flower meadow area of the Orchard, so that the volunteer team there can replant the meadow ready for the summer and beyond.
They were hugely appreciative of our efforts in taming (or trying to tame...) the bramble mountain that confronted us last time round, and it's likely to be more of the same, but we'll know what to expect this time...especially as we'll be able to see what we're taking on as the light evenings have finally returned.

Please come prepared with long sleeves and trousers (of some sort) to protect against the brambles, thorns and other jabbing/grabbing green things that will be part of this evening's entertainment - gloves and equipment will be provided.
There'll be a run option (c2m/3.2km each way) starting at Freaks and Geeks (West Ham Lane), with bag drop available at the pub, meeting at 6.30pm, and returning back there afterwards - or alternatively you can meet us at the task.
