WOCA is a volunteer-run non-profit, committed to improving the lives of those in West Oxford. The bustling community centre offers welfare, educational and recreational activities.

The West Oxford Fun Day takes place on Saturday 12th July 2-6pm in the park behind the West Oxford Community Centre (on the Botley Road). The Fun Day is well attended, and they rely on volunteers to set it up, run the event, and clear away at the end of the day.

The organisers have requested our help to clear up at the end of the day, as they have to return the park to it's normal state by the end of the evening. This may involve lifting tables, moving hay bales, dismantling gazebos. Definitely putting the 'Gym' in 'GoodGym' on this task!

Bring gloves if you prefer them when lifting and carrying, otherwise you just need your muscles and enthusiasm!

How are you getting there?
