Our project aim to locate and support women who are vulnerable and isolated in the Derby and Derbyshire Area. We offer advice, guidance and action for domestic violence such as the Freedom programme, courses, workshops, befriending schemes and legal advice.

Derby Women's Centre has a garden at the back of the property which needs to be cleared of rubbish and some weeds to be removed.

By improving the outside space they will be able to host some of their classes outdoors, which in turn will support the ladies' physical and mental well being.

There isn't a car park at the centre, however the task owner Noreen has told us that one car can park at CTP on Charnwood Street it's at the bottom of the street across from the church. The car park will be busy with learners and tutors so we are not able to have more than one car space for volunteers this time. (Charnwood Learning Centre, 1 Charnwood Street Derby DE1 2GX)
