About the task

This evening we will be back with the Oxford Preservation Trust, this time in East Oxford!

The Oxford Preservation Trust have asked for our help clearing ragwort from one of their fields in the Harcourt Hill area. Ragwort spreads quickly and can be harmful to some wildlife, so let’s do some clearing!

Tools will be provided but please bring gardening gloves

We will meet at the Brookes Sport Campus (home of Harcourt Hill parkrun) and walk to the task together.

There are loads of lovely footpaths over towards Boars Hill so we will have a run after the task.

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Bethan Greenaway by email at bethan@goodgym.org.

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
